At the end of January 2016, Tablez Food Company, the food and beverage arm of Lulu International Group, launched the UAE’s first Famous Dave’s outlet after signing a franchise agreement to bring the American chain to the region.
The outlet in the Abu Dhabi Mall is the first to open outside the Americas, with Famous Dave’s currently operating 182 outlets across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. Tablez has already signed another outlet in Dubai Parks, set to open by the end of 2016, along with an outlet in Abu Dhabi’s Marina Mall.
For this project our Reclaimed Barnstock brick-tiles were used together with roughly applied plaster to give the appearance that the brickwork was showing through where the original plaster had broken away from the wall.
