How many corners do I need?
Are they made from real bricks?
Yes, all our brick tiles are cut from real bricks, here in our Warrington factory (not imported from abroad). Our Reclaimed Barnstock and Reclaimed Tudor are made from original reclaimed bricks taken from demolition projects. All our other bricks are cut from real clay bricks.
Do I need a tiler or a bricklayer?
Most tilers should be able to install the brick tiles for you. The only difference from regular tiling is that the brick tiles are pointed rather than grouted after being fitted to the wall.
Do you have any installers you can recommend?
Yes, we do have a selection of installers who we have worked with over the years. Their details can be found over on our How to Install page.
Can I fit them myself?
Yes, you sure can. Our brick tiles are easy to install as a DIY project. We sell the full range of installation products needed to do the job yourself. Check out our How to Install page for tips on what’s needed.

Our Standard Set Tile Adhesive covers approximately 4 square metres per 25kg bag.

Do I need to seal the brick tiles?
Sealing the brick tiles isn’t 100% necessary but it does help with keeping your brick tile wall clean and dust-free.

The coverage of our Brick Tile Sealer is approximately 12-15 square metres per 1 litre bottle.

When using our brick-tiles in an area they are likely to get wet or greasy we would recommend applying our Brick Tile Sealer once fitted. This helps to stop water penetration and makes them easier to wipe clean.
We would not recommend using them in an area where they are going to have heavy water contact such as a shower enclosure. If you did want to do this, please get in touch with our team and we can suggest some products that will help with water-proofing.
Are the bricks okay to be used externally?
Yes, our brick tiles can be used externally. We would recommend using an external tile adhesive for this application. If you would like to do this for your project, please get in touch with our team and we can suggest the best adhesive to suit the project.
Are the bricks okay to be used on the floor?
Yes, our brick tiles can be used as flooring. As standard we cut our brick tiles to 20mm, but if you wanted a thicker cut brick tile to suit your project, we can cut them to your specific requirements.
Can the bricks be cut down?
Yes, the brick tiles can be cut quite easily using a tile cutter or with an angle grind with a diamond tipped blade.
What surface can they go on?
The ideal surface for fitting the brick tiles to would be plasterboarded walls or a sheet timber surface. If the walls have been previously painted or are of a rough texture we would recommend using our Prime Plus Primer before installation.
How much do they weigh?
Each brick tile weighs approximately 500g and the corner tiles approximately 750g.
