Reclaimed bricks TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEFINITIONS

In these terms and conditions “The Company” shall mean Reclaimed Brick-Tile Limited and
the “Customer” shall mean the person, firm, company, corporation or body by whom
an order is given to the Company.

 

APPLICATION OF TERMS

These terms and conditions shall apply to all quotations and sales of goods by the
company and unless otherwise agreed in writing shall be the only terms and conditions
relating to any contract arising therefrom. Any other condition, representations,
warranties, or descriptions whether written or oral, express, implied, statutory or
otherwise are expressly excluded other than such statutory conditions or warranties as
may not be capable of exclusion.

PAYMENTS

Payments are made via Sagepay Debit or Credit Card which have the Visa, Mastercard or Maestro logo, or bank transfer where prior instructions have been given.
All orders are to be paid in full before dispatch unless the Company has agreed monthly credit facilities. Monthly credit facilities shall mean that all goods delivered in any one calendar month shall be paid in full on or before the last day of the following month.
In the event of non-payment of any amount due from the Purchaser the whole balance outstanding on the Purchaser’s account shall become payable forthwith and the Company reserves the right to withhold further deliveries until such payment has been effected, cancel any contract with the Purchaser without being liable to the Purchaser for any loss occasioned or arising therefrom, or at the Company’s discretion to cancel the monthly credit facility with effect that all further goods supplied to the Purchaser must be paid for in advance. The Company reserve the right to disallow any discount that may be applicable to the contract entered into by the Purchaser and to charge interest on such outstanding accounts at a rate not exceeding 15% per annum.
By placing an order with Recliamed Brick-Tile Limited you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Every care has been taken to ensure that descriptions, measurements, colours and prices are correct. We reserve the right to amend prices in the event of a change in VAT. Please note that there may be some variation in the colour of goods shown on the website due to the limitations of photographic and web processes and we cannot be held responsible for any variations in colour that may arise caused by your browser or computer software.

Orders can be processed directly though this web site. Recliamed Brick-Tile Limited processes card payments securely via a third party payment system called sagepay. All transactions are processed using a secure server. Recliamed Brick-Tile Limited does not hold any customer card details and we will never pass your details on to anyone.

 

DELIVERY POLICY

(a) From the placing of orders we aim to deliver within seven days. From time to time this may change due to demand but in such circumstances, customers will be made aware within 48 hours of ordering.
(b) All deliveries are made via Global Logistics (UK) Ltd and are delivered on shrink wrapped pallets to ensure safe delivery.
(c) Deliveries will be made to the entrance of the delivery address or as close as possible. In the event of the delivery address being a multi-storey building (apartment block), delivery will be made to the ground floor building entrance.
(d) In the event that a delivery cannot be made and will need a subsequent redelivery to the same or an alternative address, the Company reserves the right to charge an additional delivery fee.
(e) We advise customers not to arrange contractors before goods have been delivered. The Company will not be liable for other costs that may arise due to a delay in delivery.
(f) Where goods are collected ex-works by the customer or his servant or agent the Company’s responsibility ceases when the goods are handed over to the Purchaser or his servant or agent.

 

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

(a) Any refund claims must be notified by the Customer to the Company within 7 days of delivery.
(b) The customer will have the option to organise a collection and redelivery through ourselves, subject to a return delivery charge equal to the original delivery charge of the order.
(c) Alternatively in the event of the customer arranging their own delivery back to us, we will not be liable for any damage or lost in transit.
(d) Refund payments will be made via the same method as the original payment once the goods have been received back minus the redelivery charge.
(e) Cancellations before dispatch must be confirmed in writing.

 

AVAILABILITY OF GOODS

Any order may be cancelled by the Company without notice if the Company are prevented from obtaining, purchasing or manufacturing the goods or from delivering the same by reason of force majeure, civil commotion, adverse weather conditions, strike, lock-out, fire, accident, breakdown of plant, machinery or vehicles or any other cause outside the control of the Company, and the Company will not accept liability for delays, damages, breakages, or any other consequences arising from or contributed to by any such matters.

 

QUALITY OF GOODS

Due to the reclaimed nature of our products, up to 10% wastage can be expected.
Due to the reclaimed nature of our products, variations in both colour and texture are to be expected.
Samples submitted by the Company are an indication of texture, size, colours and
general appearance only. Bulk supplies cannot be guaranteed to correspond in every
respect.

 

JURISDICTION

Every contract to which these terms and conditions apply shall be construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

SAGE PAY

Secure payments with Sage Pay
As a payment service provider (PSP), thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to Sage Pay. It is their top priority to ensure that our customers’ transaction data is kept secure at all times.

 

Transaction and Security

All transaction information passed between merchant sites and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

 

Encryption and data storage

Once on our systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign’s Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data we hold is extremely secure and we are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
