3 Completely Different Takes on a Kitchen Brick Slip Feature Wall

3 Completely Different Takes on a Kitchen Brick Slip Feature Wall

A kitchen brick slip feature wall can be the perfect finishing touch to a new kitchen extension project.

Rather than having plain painted plastered walls, many people are now looking to add a splash of character with an exposed brick feature wall.

Brick slips are a perfect way of achieving this. They can be installed relatively quickly and offer an instant change in character that is sure to provide that wow factor and have all your friends and family asking just how you achieved it.

Using brick slips in a kitchen is a great option as they are relatively maintenance free and can be used as a kitchen splashback when used with our Brick and Dust Sealer. This sealer offers protection from oil and water splashes and also stops any brick dust coming away from the bricks when touched.

We are pleased to say that we have recently added three new case studies to our website which all show how great brick slips can look in a new kitchen project.

Each one took a different approach to having brick slips in their kitchens and used a different colour choice of brick slips to create their own unique look and feel.

Kitchen Extension Feature Wall

traditional london yellow brick slips - extension feature wall

We love this one here in our office. It’s a great example of what can be achieved using our Traditional London Yellow brick slips.

The customers wanted to have a kitchen brick slip feature wall in the living/dining area of their new extension, that was opposite to the kitchen.

Natural light from the new bifolding doors and velux windows really helps brighten up the brick wall. This will offer different lighting throughout the day which will give the brick slip feature wall a constantly changing look under different lighting conditions.

Luxury Kitchen Project

Another stunning kitchen project. This time using our Reclamation Handmade brick slips over at a property in Cheshire.

This project paired our brick slips with a bespoke handmade shaker style kitchen from the kitchen specialists, Todd James Kitchens in Wilmslow, Cheshire to create a high end finish that really speaks for itself.

The finish is truly high end, with the brick slips looking completely authetic as if they had always been there as the real existing brick work.

Check out the case study on this one which features more photos and videos for your kitchen brick slip inspiration.

Industrial Shaker Kitchen Project

And finally we have this gorgeous industrial style kitchen that used our most popular product, the Reclaimed Barnstock brick slips to great effect along with raw metals and a navy blue shaker style kitchen.

This one really showcased how our reclaimed brick slips can be used to create a unique industrial feel.
