Brick slips do not need sealing in a regular enviroment. It is really down to personal preference. However, we would recommend sealing brick slips when installing them in a kitchen around the oven and sink areas or in a bathroom around any wet areas.
We recommend the use of our Interior Brick and Dust Sealer. This sealer is applied after the brick slips have been fully installed and is applied to the surface using a paint brush or a roller. The sealer is a water based matt finish sealer which impregnates the surface of the brick slips and does not give them any additional shine.

Sealing the brick slips can help to reduce dust and small particles that may come loose when touching the brick slips or pointing mortar. It also makes them easier to clean if needed.
