When comparing brick slips to regular bricks they usually are slightly more expensive. Although brick slips are more expensive, they are easier to install and more convenient than regular bricks when you are looking to create an exposed brick feature wall. Time and cost savings can be made on the installation side as brick slips can be installed DIY or by most competent tilers. There is no need for a bricklayer to install them.
Prices do vary within the brick slip market and this is generally dependent on the quality of the brick slips. Cheaper options can start around £15-20 per square metre and at the premium end of the market prices can be around £60-£80 per square metre.
We won’t beat around the bush. Our brick slips are priced at £80 per square metre including VAT across our full range.
You will find some brick slips available for much cheaper but these tend to be cheaply made imported brick slips and in some cases aren’t made from real bricks but made in a mould from materials such as concrete.
We cut all our brick slips here in our Manchester factory using premium reclaimed and handmade bricks. These bricks are costly in themselves, before they go through any cutting process.
We simply don’t offer cheap inferior brick slips. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and the finished results show for themselves.
If you are considering our brick slips versus a cheaper option, we would suggest getting samples of both to see the difference in quality.
