Skyloft London – Reclaimed barnstock brick slips

Skyloft London Reclaimed barnstock brick slips

One of our recent projects, the New Balance Experience Centre in Central London has undergone some recent changes and has now become Skyloft – the ultimate warehouse style events space by Altitude London.

We were originally approached to supply for this project before last year’s Olympic Games in London. The original plan was for the space to be used as an executive suite for New Balance during the Olympics and Paralympics.

The venue has now been changed into one of London’s premier eventing spaces encapsulates the entire top floor of London’s tallest riverside entertainment complex, creating the capital’s ultimate warehouse style events space. Jaw-dropping views of the capital from the top of the Millbank Tower are guaranteed to leave your guests lost for words.

The one of a kind pop up venue had been created especially for the 2012 summer games.
A quintessentially British design is complemented by retro design features.

A sporting influence is revealed in the venue’s extraordinary wood floor, recycled from a gymnasium in Edinburgh. Exposed brickwork reclaimed from a disused Manchester cotton mill gives the venue a vintage feel. The design is accentuated by steelwork and exposed wooden beams.

Designer fittings include specially sourced lounge furniture and a huge wraparound bar which perfectly complements the relaxed feel of the venue. 60″ plasma screens offer a simple branding solution. Added to this is a wealth of lighting options, giving Skyloft fantastic versatility, ideal for bespoke events.

Our Reclaimed Barnstock brick slips were the chosen bricks for this project. Bringing the original charm that can only be achieved with reclaimed bricks.
